Wed 10/3 Topic:  Sources of royalty-free music for your soundtrack; legal and ethical use of audio material created by others Audio Handouts: Storybuilders Audio (document to download about making audio); A Fair(y) Use Tale (online video); “Copyright Basics,” “Fair Use,” and “Plagiarism” (in OSU Libraries Copyright Help Center—online); check out free and legal music available on the Resources page on this website.
Fri 10/5 Task 2.2 due; Discuss criteria for identifying good interview subjects. Blog post due by 5pm.  Create a page on your blog that will house all of your materials for assignment #2 and post your alphabetic literacy narrative on it.

Wed 10/10  Task 2.3 due; bring in your audio file on your thumb drive and post it to your blog as well.
Fri 10/12 Discuss last task of assignment #2.  View Schofield exhibit for inspiration.  Blog post due by 5pmHomework:  Brainstorm a list of 3 different collections you might make.  Type this up and bring it to class on Monday.
